History of Pack 999

Pack was chartered in Summer 1998 with 07 boys and 02 leaders. Since then, it has grown to 30 boys and 05 leaders

Cub Scout Pack 999 provide the Asian-American community of Southwest Houston a year-round family,community-centered program that has helped to strengthen families by providing the environment where boys, families, leaders, and chartered organizations work together to achieve the following objectives in the boys:

• Influence a boy's character development and spiritual growth
• Develop habits and attitudes of good citizenship
• Encourage good sportsmanship and pride in growing strong in mind and body
• Improve understanding within the family
• Strengthen a boy's abillity to get along with others
• Foster a sense of personal achievement by developing new interests and skills
• Provide fun and exciting new things to do
• Show a boy how to be helpful and do his best
• Prepare him to be a Boy Scout


To achive these goals successfully, we strongly insist and encourage parent to voluntarily get involve in the program, work cooperately with the pack in all pack's activities
